Teachers’ Pension Plan Changes

On April 15, 2019 the Teachers’ Pensions Act 2018 was proclaimed and officially came into force. As a result, the Newfoundland and Labrador Plan Text is now the official document governing the operations of the Teachers’ Pension Plan. For more information visit: tppcnl.ca

Provincial Budget 2019
EDUCATION HIGHLIGHTS

Redundancy / Reassignment and Layoff

May 7th was the DEADLINE for teachers to be notified of layoff. ALL teachers should make themselves familiar with the process. Article 9 of the Provincial Collective Agreement (Article 47 in the Labrador West Collective Agreement) outlines the process.
