Calendar     Notice to All Teachers       
THREE-WEEK PAY PERIOD GAP
AUGUST-SEPTEMBER 2012

The last pay period for the 2011-12 school year will fall on Thursday, August 16, 2012 and the next pay period will occur on Thursday, September 6, 2012. This three week pay period gap occurs once every five to six years (last occurring in 2006).

Contact the Benefits & Economic Services Division at the NLTA or the Teacher Payroll Division at the Department of Education if you have any questions.

Election date image

Once every two years an election is held where all teachers are eligible to vote for the next NLTA President and Vice-President. The date for the province-wide election for the 2013-15 President and Vice-President is Tuesday, December 4, 2012.
