for the Election of President and Vice-President for 2017-19

Message to All Teachers on Election of NLTA President and Vice-President
The NLTA Electoral Committee has reviewed and confirmed the results of the election for President and Vice-President.
For the Office of President, the vote result is as follows:
Dean Ingram – 3,454 votes (75%)
Lori Jackman – 1,163 votes (25%)
Dean Ingram has been declared elected as the NLTA President for 2017-19.
For the Office of Vice-President, the vote result is as follows:
Derek Drover – 1,318 votes (29%)
Trent Langdon – 1,861 votes (40%)
Jeanne Williams – 1,420 votes (31%)
There was no clear majority for the election of NLTA Vice-President. Therefore, in accordance with NLTA policy, a run-off ballot will be held on Monday, December 19th between candidates Trent Langdon and Jeanne Williams.
