NLTA PRESIDENT AND VICE-PRESIDENT ELECTED BY PROVINCE-WIDE VOTE

St. John’s NL….Trent Langdon of Mount Pearl has been elected as NLTA Vice-President for 2017-19 in a run-off ballot that took place on December 19.

Dean Ingram, a CDLI Biology teacher from Clareville was elected as NLTA President on December 6. He takes over as NLTA President on August 1, 2017.

The positions of NLTA President and Vice-president have been elected by province-wide vote among the NLTA membership since 2003. The remaining members of the 2017-19 Provincial Executive Council will be elected by the delegates to the NLTA Biennial General Meeting to be held April 18-21, 2017 in St. John’s.
