The Labrador West Collective Bargaining Committee will soon be established. In preparation for the Committee's work, input is being sought from the membership with respect to the development of opening proposals for the upcoming round of negotiations on the Labrador West Collective Agreement. Your Branch President has already participated in Joint Council sessions on collective bargaining, and it is important that every member have the opportunity to be involved in the process. To this end, all submissions will be thoroughly reviewed and considered in the developemnt of the opening package. The deadline for submissions is Friday, January 20, 2012. Each and every member of the Labrador West Branch is strongly encouraged to become actively involved by providing the Committee with input and direction as they focus on the task of developing a comprehensive set of opening proposals that reflects the priorities of teachers in Labrador West.
